Huge White Rally in Charlottesville, VA, in Prelude to Major Event Today

Hundreds of US white nationalists have rallied at the University of Virginia, protesting against plans to remove a statue of a confederate general.
The group waved torches and chanted "You will not replace us" and "white lives matter" as they marched through the Charlottesville University.

The protesters are angered at the planned removal of a statue of General Robert E Lee from Charlottesville.
Protest organiser Jason Kessler, who has previously accused the town of "anti-white hatred", described the event as an "incredible moment for white people who've had it up to here and aren't going to take it anymore".
The marchers completely outnumbered a tiny handful of protestors.
The major rally is set to take place today at noon today at Lee Park in the center of Charlottesville. It is being held under the banner of "Unite the Right" and is advertised as featuring speakers such as Richard Spencer, Mike Enoch, Jason Kessler, Baked Alaska, Augustus Invictus, Christopher Cantwell, Matt Heimbach, Johnny Monoxide, Pax Dickinson, and Dr. Michael Hill.
The event's Facebook page has been closed down, and the owners of Airbnb confirmed that it had canceled the accounts of some users who were involved with the event.
